Hi Bob, yes I realised that just as soon as I had a look at the Evernote
blog. A bit like the iPod holds about 10,000 songs. I forget most
people don't think in MB ;)

I'm assuming the 'Approximate Notes Remaining' is just there to help you visualize the amount of space left. "10 mb" is meaningless to most people, but if you say "which is about 300 web clips", they know what to expect.
